Colonia de Sacramento-Historic Town In Uruguay

If you are in Buenos Aires and have a spare day there is nothing better than to visit the historic town of Colonia de Sacramento across the river  La Plata in southern Uruguay. It is a one hour ferry ride and border control procedures were simple and easy and worth the trip in a comfortable ferry.
