Great B & B In Lecce Italy-- B & B Corte Dell' Idume

Lecce is a fascinating city in the southern Italian region of Apulia and perhaps the nicest of the towns in the region with its elaborate baroque architecture. Like most Italian cities it has an old city at its core and more modern areas outside and it is in the city centre that you should focus. For that reason we selected  B & B Corte Dell' Idume close to the cathedral and the centre and historical area and it was a great find. Only some three minute walk from the cathedral and town centre , six hundred meters from the Roman ruins and many churches and small restaurants and bars we found B & B Corte Dell' Idume  run by a charming hostess called Simone who went out of her way to assist us daily. It is in a small side street at the second level of an elaborate Pallazio that the owner occupies and had two bedrooms, a large kitchen, good sized bathroom and an extensive terrace on the top floor with an excellent view of the Cathedral. It met all our needs when exploring Lecce.
