ON THE HUME HIGHWAY 150 KM FROM MELBOURNE
Euroa means Joyfull in the Aboriginal language and its one claim to fame was that Ned Kelly robbed the NAB bank in 1878. The Major Mitchell Expedition of 1836 also camped on Seven Creeks that runs through the town It used to gain wealth from sheep but is now famous for horse racing studs.
