Getting There
The best way we found was to fly into Leon or Guanajuato Airport and stay in Guanajuato and take a bus from Guanajuato to San Miguel de Allende. The bus station is excellent and Primera Plus operates regular affordable bus services. Taxi's from Guanajuato Airport are clean, well managed and set at a fixed fee of Pesos 550. Buy a ticket in the airport.Local taxis in Guanajuato were cheap (check the fare to the bus station--60-80 pesos)
