GETTING THERE
There are regular flights to Karratha from Perth and good accommodation in Karratha.
We stayed at:-
The Millstream Chichester National Park is 1,190 KM north of Perth and 140 KM east of Karratha on what is now a sealed road and the Pilbara Scenery is fantastic along the way. For about 100 KM of the drive you run alongside the railway line to Tom Price. Make sure you take a few kilometer trip to PYTHON POOL on the way. Make sure you do the Snappy Gum Drive, a 22 KM loop within Millstream and walk the oasis at the back of th homestead. There are a number of walking trails and BBQ and other facilities around the old homestead built in 1920. There is a fee to enter.
