There is no question that southern Utah has some of thr most magnificant scenery anywhere and it is also diverse. From St George to Moab and the south east corner with Arizona you get it all. Start with Zion National park and stay in St George.

The Mormon's arrived into this area in 1858 and it was named Mukuntaweep and later changed to Zion in 1918 and became the first national park in Urah in 1919. It covers an area of 590 Square kilometers and is 24 KM long and 800 meters wide. The lowest pointy is 1,117 meter high. There is an entrance fee and the shuttle is extra and needs to be booked ahead.
