BOGOTA-HISTORIC AREA , A MUST PLACE TO SEE

Bogota was a fascinanting place to visit and the Old Historic Area is a must place to see. Some parts of Bogota are unsafe so we took a private tour (car, driver and guide) downtown to the historic area. It was arranged at the hotel. We stayed in the Financial District close to Zona G where thre were some excellent restaurants and was quite safe and secure to walk the streets day and night.(with due care).Taxi's also were OK and honest.

We stayed at an excellent hotel in a great location.

Once in the historic area we felt comfortable walking around as there were mant tourisrs but some places nearby were no-go zones.
