GIANT WILD GOOSE PAGODA
XI'AN CHINA
The original Pagoda was built between649 and 683 and stood 60 metres tall for five decades and collapsed and was rebuilt in 704 with five additional stories. The earth quake of 1556 damaged the pagoda and it lost three levels and was reduced to 63 metres. It is located withing teh Daci'en Temple.
We stayed at the Westin Hotel that is across the street. This was also the location of the airport bus so it is a convenienet place to stay.
