The massive sandstone butte's of Monument Valley provide some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere.Located in the Four Corners region on the border of Arizona and Utah access is via US 163.There is a fee as you are in the Navajo Nation Reservation but make sure you drive the 27 km dirt road through the valley and also take a walk through the valley and stand in awe and the scenery of the sandstone butte's some as high as 300 metres from the valley floor.Stay at Gouldings Lodge where all the fil people have stayed.
