Guide To Tokyo Metro-Ginza Line

The Ginza  (Yellow) line in the Tokyo Metro system is the oldest line and is about 14 KM in length and runs from Shibuya to  Asakusa via Ginza. It is a great way to get across Tokyo rather than take the above ground Yamanote line.It also crosses many of the other Metro Lines so if you are in the Ginza area this is a good train system to use.Train stations are all now numbered with the prefix G so it is easy to use the system and get around. Purchase a Suica Card for easy access. Go to any Tourist Information Office and you will find excellent maps and guides to the system in English.
