TATTOO'S IN AN ONSEN --A BIG NO NO

TATTOO'S A BIG "NO NO" IN AN ONSEN

For those that are visiting Japan and wish to use an Onsen or hot public bath take note that many have specific rules relating to those that have a heart tattooed on their butt or Popeye and an anchor on their arm may be rejected or not permitted to enter.Japanese people still do not see tattoos's as socially acceptable and it is best to cover your tattoos or have them removed before entering an Onsen. As clothing as a cover up is not acceptable this is not an option. Some may accept but most likely to ask if your tattoos of two naked wrestlers is acceptable you will probably be denied entry. The alternative stay in your hotel and have a bath with a rubber duck.
Hide your silly tattoo's
