LOCATION FOR AQUAMAN FILM SHOOT
Hastings Point is a small coastal settlement of New South Wales Tweed Shire surrounded by national park, and is nestled between the ocean on its east and a beautiful but delicate estuary on its west provides very pretty beach and river scenery as well as outstanding views north and south from the point itself. When the visit was made Warner Bros had completed filming of AQUAMAN, a major movie and were dismantling a movie set of a house and lighthouse (quite majestic) on the point. This area is not well signed but it is one of the prettiest locations along the coast.It is only a short distance from Kingscliff where we stayed at:
