This UNESCO World Heritage site believed to have been built in 312 BC is magnificent and a place you can walk for a day and not cover all the sites. It is quite massive and far beyond expectations.

in Wadi Musa which was convenient and hired a car and a drive from Amman which was quite affordable and the best way to travel and see Petra and the Dead Sea
