NOOSA RIVER

The catchment for the Noosa River starts in Wahpoonga Range near Mt Elliott and flows south to Tewantin and then Noosa Heads.It is a pretty river with mangrove swamps and various inlets through luxury residences particularly at Noosa Heads.
Noosa Harbour Resort is a great place to stay and right on the river with its own private sandy beach.
Take a cruise at sunset for some of the best views around.
