Purnululu National park is 304 KM from Kununurra and 160 KM from Halls Creek and covers 240,000 Hectares and is known for its extraordinary array of banded sandstone domes that cover 45,000 ha of the park.In 2003 the national park was World Heritage listed because of incredible beauty and and its outstanding geological value.
The best option is  to stay in Kununurra and catch a tour. In Kununurra and excellent place to stray is.

The Bungle Bungle Range has two main areas, north and south.In the south you have the Domes, Piccanninny Gorge, and Cathedral Gorge as well as Elephant Rock on the way in. In the north there is the Bloodwoods lookout , Echidna Chasm and Osmand Lookout.
