When visiting Antelope Canyon, stay in Page where there are some reasonable accomodation and restaurants.We have stayed atthe Courtyard overlooking Lake Powell a number of times.

Antelope Canyon  is some 12 kilometers south east of Page on Highway 98. You are on Navajo land and there is an $8 fee to enter and all visits must ise a Navajo guide at a cost of $25 per person. The Lower Canyon is some 407 meters long and 37 meters deep.Although I belive they have changed the procedure we entered via a fissure in the ground which seemed impossible until you were in.
