GETTING THERE
There are train services from Bari which also has an international airport with flights to Heathrow. Although Bari is not a great town and the port area is dangerous it provided a good central point for places like Alberobello ,Matera , Ostuni and Lecce.The train takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes

TRULLI
The Trulli are white-tipped cone shaped dry stone (no mortar) houses built from the 16th century as temporary premises for field workers and permant resident as well. They are most common in this area
