GODAFOSS
NORTHERN ICELAND
It was Day 6 of our trip around Iceland and we had stayed at
not far from Godafosswith the intention of seeing it first thing in the morning and heading on to Akureyri to the west.Like most days in mid-summer it was close to freezing when we reached Godafoss which is a short walk from the car park. Godafoss has a 12 meter fall and is some 30 metres wide in a curved arc. You can get quite clsose to the falls.
