A STEP BACK IN TIME
This old city of narrow alleyways with mud walls and minarets dates back 1,500 years. You will see people livinga going about the business as they may have done hundreds of years past in their traditional clothing.It hs ben a World Heritage site since 1991, and the first in Uzbekistan.
We stayed at the QOSHA DARVOZA HOTEL outsode the walled city and it was a short walk, conveninet although basic hotel, but good. Allow two full days and ensure you visit to city at night.There are regular flights from Tashkent via Uzbekistan Airlines
