THE WAY IN TO THE ANCIENT CITY OF PETRA JORDAN

Petra the ancient Nabatean City that possibly goes back to the 5th Century BC  is a wonder in itself but the 1.2 KM gorge that gives access to the city , known as Al Siq is amazing as well.It leads to the Khazneh or the Treasury .

Who can forget the scene in "Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade" with Harrison Ford and Sean Connery riding on horse back from The Treasury through Al Siq.
