SWAN HILL PIONEER SETTLEMENT
LIFE ON THE MURRAY RIVER
1830-1930
The Swan Hill Pioneer Settlemet was establihed in 1963 as the Swan Hill Folk Museum and was changed to the current name in 1970. It covers history on the Murray river from 1830 -1930 and has some 50 replica buildings, two 19th century river boats and numerous old tractors and antique vehicles. You can spend at least half a day here and it is suggested you stay in Swan Hill. This is one of the better and more interesting historic villages and worth a visit.
