MILLSTREAM-CHICHESTER NATIONAL PARK
The Pilbara is a magical area (502,000 Square km , twice the size of the UK and 20% larger than California.Karratha is a good base and we suggest:-
Millstream is 100 km from Karratha and now sealed. This is a magnificent oasis in the middle of the desert and until 1865-1967 it was used by pastoralists.It is now a National Park and there are numerous walking trailks and a 20km loop through the park (Snappy Gum Drive). Be sure to stop off at Python Pool in the Chichester Range on the way.
