Alatonero is a relative newcomer to the restaurant scene on the Mornington Peninsula and operates out of what was the McCrae Pavilion opposite the McCrae Lighthouse. It has a great Mediterranean feel with an excellent outdoor area and provides interesting Greek inspired food. I am advised that the name comes from he Greek version of Saltwater, (Saltwater at Crittendon) where the owner was involved for many years.
