MONOPOLI
HISTORY AND CHURCHES IN A BEAUTIFUL TOWN
Monopoli is not that well known as a tourist spot in Apulia, the spur on the boot of Italy but it is a great spot as a base to see the many fascinating towns around as well as explore the town itself. Monopoli has some very interesting churches and some very good restaurants and also quite interesting places to stay. We stayed in a very quaint and interesting old apartment called Albergo Diffuso in the heart of the old town.
