SAKURA CHERRY TREES IN SPRING

Chidorigafuchi is one of the best places in Tokyo to see the Sakura Cherry Trees in bloom in Spring .It starts at the Hanzomon Gate and extebnns to the Chidorigafuchi Intersection and is a park 450 meters long by about 20 meters wide. The first trees were planted by a British Diplomat Earnest Satow in 1881 with more to follow later.
