IGUACU FALLS BRAZIL

IGUACU FALLS
BRAZIL

Iguacu Falls can be assessed via the Brazilian or Argentinian side as both have airports and hotels. This was the second visit and it was on the Brazilian side and we selected
as it was close to the airport  in Foz de Iguacu ( IGU) and only a short walk to the falls.
The falls are where the Igucu River goes over the Parana Plateau on the border Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. The 2.7 Kilometre long ledge has numerous islands  and at any one time there can be between 150 and 300 water falls dumping water at the rate of 1,746 cubic meters per second. The falls have a drop of 60 to 82 metres.
Expect to get wet and take a plastic cover.
