Rottnest Island sits offshore from the city of Fremantle and Perth, in Western Australia. It is a protected nature reserve with amazing white sandy beaches and secluded coves it is home of the Quokka, a small wallaby-like marsupial. Thomson Bay, the main hub and ferry port has regular ferry services from Fremantle and there is a hop on hop off bus service that can be included in the Sealink Ferry service from Fremantle, the most convenient way to visit.
