Teotihuacan is a  Mexican pre-Columbian  archaeological complex northeast of Mexico City once one of the largest cities in the world. Within the complex that covers 83 square kilometers is the Avenue of the Dead. It links the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, the Pyramid of the Moon and the Pyramid of the Sun, the latter two with great panoramic views from their summits. it is located 40 Kilometers north east of mexico City and it is best to take a tour from the city. It dates back to the first century and no one is quite sure wht it faded away although there are many theories.
