ARTHUR'S SEAT EDINBURGH-NOT AS GOOD AS THE ONE NEAR MELBOURNE

 ARTHUR'S SEAT

HOLYROOD PARK  EDINGURGH

Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh is 1.6 KM from Edinburgh Castle and its 251 metre craggy peak makes up most of Holyrood Park on the edge of the city of Edinburg Scotland. The name origin is not clear and some say it came from the legend of King Arthur, others say it is a derivation of Height of Arrows which somehow becale Arrows Seat and then Arthurs Seat.If in Edinburg it is only a short walk and worth the climb as you get good views of the city and the Firth of Forth's.
