Auschwitz-Birkenau-Poland

The Horrors of Auschwitz and Birkenau

Both places are now museums and visited by many people who cannot perceive of the horrors and atrocities that took place in both places during WW2. Both provide stark reminders of what people can do and what people have been put through. The best place to visit is from Krakow where there is a regular and convenient train service. There is a bus service between Auschwitz and Birkenau but it is a short walk of about 2 kilometres. Words do not tell the story but visiting does.
