Bratislava -Slovakia

BRATISLAVA
CAPITOL OF SLOVAKIA.
A Day Trip From Vienna

It was a one hour bus ride from Vienna to Bratislava so we stayed at the
Vienna
in Vienna which was close to the train and tram that took us to the bus terminal.
Bratislava sits on the Danube River close to the Austria and Hungary borders and has a definite eastern European feel to it. The old town is quite historic and interesting and you can spend a good day walking the streets and the old buildings. There are some fascinating stutues and churches in the town and of course the castle up on the hill

Konditorei Kormuth --Bratislava Old World Coffee Shop

OLD WORLD COFFEE SHOP IN BRATISLAVA DESIGNED FOR TOURISTS  WITH  DEEP POCKETS

Konditori Kormuuth was an old world coffee shop in one of the narrow streets as you walk t=into the old town of Bratislava and is worth a stop just to see the place and spend a little more than you should on a cup of coffee and cake.

Yes--you did pay more than you should but the waiter was dressed for the job and gave good service and the crockery was elaborate like the shop itself and the pastries were also elaborate and tasty.

Now For Bratislava itself
